"We have a crawler baby"

Or at least that's what Max exclaimed when Perry came home from work. Scarlett has been getting around pretty well the past month (although quite slowly), by crawling two paces, pushing up into sitting, scooting on her bottom, and repeating. Finally this weekend she seems to have mastered the traditional crawl. We have a crawler baby!

Last toothless smile

Bottom 2 teeth cut today at 7 1/2 months. Can't see them easily quite yet, but toothless smiles will be replaced with toothy grins in the near future.

Fall

Looks like we do get fall in Alameda. This city girl (and her city toddler) are loving it!

Max feeds Scarlett

I decided to let Max feed his little sister her first meal of rice cereal. He seemed pretty delighted to feed her, and she seemed happy to finally get some food.

Trouble

This was Max's response to being told he could not have a Popsicle at 9am. When asked why he was dragging a chair into the kitchen he told me he was just going to "hang out" and then asked me to leave.

New House

It's been about 2 weeks since we've moved in to our new house. We still have boxes and boxes to unpack, but its slowly starting to feel like a home.
