Chasing the girls around

Today at the park, Max was involved in a game of chase with 4 kindergarten aged girls.  He was "IT" and they were all running from him screaming, "RUN!  He's coming", which he loved.  On our way out of the park he told me, "I want to chase ALL the girls in the world forever!"  What a little lover :)

Backpack

Today Scarlett was messing with Max's backpack and getting really frustrated and upset. After much fussing, I finally realized she wanted to put it on. She was so happy wearing the thing and refused to let me take it off for some time.

Habitot

A morning at Habitot in Berkekey

Sleep

The past week and a half we (or should I say Perry) have been sleep training Scarlett. At 16 months, the little lady has only slept though the night once LONG ago, and was still nursing in the night. So we hired a sleep consultant to help us after failing with Ferber (she's a puker) to help us get her on track. We have been doing the mattress/chair/sleep shuffle method where Perry sleeps next to her and slowly moves away every night until he's out the door. I am seriously a lucky girl to have such an amazing husband and dedicated father because Perry has been dealing with hours of crying for many nights, and a few solo vomit clean ups. The last few nights have finally been much better so I hope we are on the road to success!

Flying Tree

Max was real excited to paint with his new white paint. Luckily for us he used some other colors too.
