Christmas 2012

This was the first year Max actually understood the whole Santa thing. We left him chocolate chip cookies and chocolate milk, and he left us a whole lot of goodies. Here are a few gems...

A play kitchen and a new jacket and boots.

Super MarioKart race track

Mommy and daddy both for some good booze. Seems Santa knows us pretty well.

Happy holidays!

First Pony Ride

Possibly the happiest and most excited I've ever seen her.  As soon as she saw the ponies she exclaimed, "horsey!  horsey!" and kept trying to make her way to them.  Max rode as well but the pictures of her were taken on the sly by a friend since they charged for pictures.  Max was cool and collected, but Scarlett was beaming and asking for more every time the ponies had to stop.  Being a toddler, she was obviously not overjoyed when the ride was over.

Chasing the girls around

Today at the park, Max was involved in a game of chase with 4 kindergarten aged girls.  He was "IT" and they were all running from him screaming, "RUN!  He's coming", which he loved.  On our way out of the park he told me, "I want to chase ALL the girls in the world forever!"  What a little lover :)

Backpack

Today Scarlett was messing with Max's backpack and getting really frustrated and upset. After much fussing, I finally realized she wanted to put it on. She was so happy wearing the thing and refused to let me take it off for some time.
