Today was Scarlett's third dance class. She really loves class and looks at her teacher with big adoring eyes while trying her best to copy her every move. Scarlett asked if I would miss her today while she was at class or if I would "hold the miss in" which I thought was super adorable. She also told me she would color in her homework (of a bear doing a plie) in green because it is my favorite color. When she wants to be sweet that girl can sure pile it on. Max and I got to have some alone time which we rarely have these days, and we went out for ice cream and a little walk. Always nice spending time with my handsome little man.
We celebrated Max's 6th birthday with a family party and mini golf. Perry was feeling under the weather, but Max still insisted it was the best birthday ever.
The morning started with some present opening.
Max was expecting a wiiU with some exciting games, so Perry decided to surprise him with some fake games that he wouldn't be too psyched about.
He was pretty excited about the real thing though.
Another thing Max was super excited about was the fancy bakery cheesecake he requested.
But...he didn't like it! Luckily I had some cheapo grocery store cupcakes which the kids loved.
Then it was off to mini golf.
Max and Adele played Star Wars on the picnic tables after the game.
It's hard to believe our little man is 6 years old already. We couldn't be more proud of our super smart, thoughtful, sensitive, loving, goofy, funny, and incredibly handsome son.
