Island life
It's sure not Hawaii but I can't complain. We were planning on just playing in the sand but the kids immediately insisted on getting wet. Glad they are still young enough to swim in their underwear.

Reader
Max will be starting 1st grade in a at the end of the month. A few weeks ago, he joined the library summer reading program where you can win prizes for reading. It's all honor system and its cute to see how honest he is at this age, never even considering the possibility of claiming more hours read so he can get better prizes. He read for 8 hours (15-30 minutes a day), and got a free ice cream and his picture at the local ice cream parlor.
