Babies and Temperature
A few weeks ago, we picked up a digital room thermometer from Radio Shack to see what the temperature is in the future nursery. It seems that one recommendation to reduce the risk of SIDs is to keep the room temperature between 61-67 degrees. The thermometer we got shows the current temperature, as well as the history of the highest and lowest. It was pretty suprising that the coldest the nursery has gotten in the past weeks was 66. We've even had to turn the heat on a few times--I could have sworn that the temperature was *well* below 66. The highest temperature was 78! Guess we'll be bundling up more at home instead of cranking the heat up.
